Overview
This six-session (three-year) double DEC pairs the pre-university Sciences humaines program with Danse. The Sciences humaines side opens with a shared first-year core in psychology, world history, sociology, economics and qualitative research methods, then continues with further social-science coursework such as geopolitics and history electives. The dance side moves through classical ballet and modern dance technique, movement analysis, acrobatics, improvisation, choreographic composition and workshop, and collective creation, building toward a final synthesis of skills. The two disciplines are studied in parallel across the six sessions and conclude with an integrated final project. The program suits students who want rigorous technical dance training and performance practice combined with the broad social-science grounding of Sciences humaines, rather than choosing only one of the two separate pre-university DECs.

Admission Requirements: This combined programme's own page carries no admission section (it lists only the shared course grid); requirements are set on the Cégep's Doubles DEC overview and on each component programme's own page, both cited here. Doubles DEC admission requires a general average of at least 80% in 4th- and 5th-secondary, plus meeting the admission requirements of both chosen fields. On the Sciences humaines side, the non-Mathématiques profiles require CST Mathematics from 4th secondary (or Mathematics 416); the Doubles DEC page adds that, for this combination specifically, admission also requires passing the Danse audition on top of the Sciences humaines conditions. The combined programme is admitted once a year, in the Fall, and runs three years to two separate DECs.

Cégep de Saint-Laurent's own website (cegepsl.qc.ca) was unreachable (repeated connection timeouts) this session; the dates above come directly from SRAM.
