Overview
This joint Bachelor of Fine Arts combines Concordia's Computation Arts and Computer Science programs, with students taking half their courses in each discipline. It trains digital artists who use algorithms and computational theory to create interactive multimedia, covering programming paradigms as they relate to digital art and design, techniques for 3D digital production, and computer systems for processing and manipulating digitized sound. The Computer Science component covers theory, mathematical foundations, programming methodology, computer architecture, data structures, operating systems and software engineering. Full-time study takes a minimum of three to four years (90-120 credits), with classes held on Concordia's Sir George Williams campus.
