Overview
Health Care Leadership is a post-diploma certificate at NorQuest College for individuals who already hold a diploma or degree in a health discipline. The curriculum develops leadership, strategic planning, organizational behaviour, and business fundamentals alongside communication, cultural sensitivity, and interprofessional collaboration skills, applying theory to real workplace situations under instructors with healthcare leadership experience. The program concludes with a capstone project applying leadership skills to a healthcare, education, community, or interprofessional challenge. It runs two terms and prepares graduates for roles such as team lead, coordinator, manager, supervisor, or educator across hospitals, continuing care centres, schools, and community agencies. The program does not qualify for a post-graduate work permit as of June 2025 and is not currently open to international students.
