Overview
The Master of Science in Management at Queen's University's Smith School of Business is a research-focused graduate program that provides an advanced conceptual foundation for students preparing to enter a PhD program or pursue consulting and research-based careers. The program is delivered full-time, in person, at the Kingston campus, and is completed in 12 months with a September start. Students choose a specialization from nine areas, including organizational behaviour, international business, analytics, management information systems, strategy, marketing, business economics, and finance, and are supported through a School of Graduate Studies admissions process alongside dedicated funding from Smith School of Business. Admission requires an undergraduate degree with a minimum B+ (77%) average over the final two years of study, official transcripts, a GMAT or GRE score (exemptions may be granted for applicants with an outstanding academic record from a Canadian institution), two academic referees, a resume, and a statement of research interests and career goals. Applicants whose undergraduate studies were not conducted in English must also demonstrate English language proficiency.
