Trades - Apprenticeship in Motorcycle Mechanic

This four-year apprenticeship trains students in the assembly, pre-delivery inspection, maintenance, repair and restoration of motorcycles and other multi-wheeled, lightweight, all-terrain vehicles. The first and second years each include a minimum of 1,360 hours of on-the-job training and eight weeks of classroom instruction, while the third and fourth years each include a minimum of 1,420 hours of on-the-job training and six weeks of classroom instruction. Training is delivered in person at SAIT's Main Campus using a blended format, with course activity done both on campus and online, including scheduled classes and labs as well as unscheduled coursework. This is a Red Seal endorsed trade. Graduates receive a diploma in addition to journeyperson status through Alberta's Apprenticeship and Industry Training. This program does not accept international applicants.
