Interactive Design and Technology is a two-year, 67-week diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic offered at the Regina and Saskatoon campuses with staggered intakes (Regina in odd years, Saskatoon in even years) and a September start. The program combines art with technology, covering user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, content creation and interactive storytelling, web design and front-end web development, virtual and augmented reality, audio and video production, digital marketing and social media strategy, 2D and 3D animation, and project management. Instruction is project-based, with students building a portfolio through hands-on work with current software, tools and equipment. Students are required to bring their own laptop meeting program-specified minimum requirements, with the laptop cost included in the Year 1 tuition and fees estimate. Admission follows Saskatchewan Polytechnic's First Qualified/First Admitted process, with applications opening September 1 each year.
