BA/BS in Finance

Finance is one of nine concentrations within the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at SFU's Beedie School of Business, offered at the Burnaby campus. The concentration covers securities and their markets, investment portfolios, and long-term investment in real assets, examined in the context of both personal and corporate financial decision-making. It reflects the role of the financial services sector as a significant and growing part of the BC and Canadian economy. Students complete the BBA's core business curriculum, rooted in experiential learning and real-world class projects, before specializing in Finance alongside courses in tax, markets, and financial analysis. The BBA is a four-year undergraduate degree; students choosing this concentration graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Finance specialization rather than a separate credential.
