Forensic Anthropology at Trent University is a Bachelor of Science (Honours) program that integrates the study of science and law with investigative practice and theory. Students receive an education in biological anthropology, including human evolution, growth, and development, and apply this knowledge to forensic case work. Coursework combines biology, anthropology, and forensic science, and students analyze ethical and legal issues related to evidence. The program includes optional placement and mentorship opportunities for practical experience. It is a direct-entry program with a limited number of student places, offered only on the Peterborough campus. Forensic Anthropology cannot be combined with Anthropology in a joint-major Honours degree, and there is no joint-major, General program, or minor offered in this subject.
