BA/BS in Music

The Music programme is a Bachelor of Arts combining practical studio training with theoretical musical study across a range of traditions and genres, including popular and sacred music. The flexible degree structure allows students to pair Music with a double major or minor in another discipline. Students have performance opportunities on campus and across the Greater Toronto Area, with particular emphasis on developing worship-leadership skills through Tyndale's Chapel Program, supported by dedicated music facilities. Admission to the Music major requires a successful audition in addition to standard admission to Tyndale University. Instruction is delivered mostly in person, with a portion of courses offered online. The programme suits students seeking a broad musical education with a practical performance component alongside academic music study.
