This 30-credit certificate provides foundational knowledge and practical competencies in human resources management, offered full-time or part-time at the Montreal campus (also available at Lanaudière, Laval, Longueuil, and Montérégie-Ouest) with fall and winter admission. Core courses cover organizational behaviour, HR management fundamentals, analysis of workplace organization, labour law administration, job evaluation and compensation, occupational health and safety, and an introduction to collective agreements. Students complete three additional courses chosen from options in talent acquisition, diversity management, leadership, training and development, performance management, and HR strategic planning, allowing them to tailor the certificate toward a specific area of HR practice. It suits students seeking entry-level HR competencies or professionals formalizing experience gained in the field, and can stand alone or form part of a cumulative bachelor's programme.
