This 30-credit certificate provides part-time training in telecommunications networks and systems, offered at the Montreal campus with fall and winter admission. Seven mandatory courses (21 credits) cover systems administration, programming, microprocessors, software construction, telecommunications fundamentals, and a supervised project that lets students apply the technical skills built across the program. Students then choose three elective courses (9 credits) from options spanning databases, web programming, cybersecurity, and advanced communications systems, allowing some specialization within the broader networks and telecommunications curriculum. The program combines theoretical grounding in electronics and computing with hands-on systems work. It suits candidates already working in, or looking to move into, the electronics, telecommunications, or information-technology fields who want structured, part-time technical training in network design, administration, and telecom systems without committing to a full degree program.
