This Certificate in Financial Information and Management is a 30-credit, first-cycle undergraduate program that builds foundational competencies in this specialized branch of accounting science. Students learn to produce and interpret financial and non-financial information, plan and control operations, evaluate organizational performance, and communicate results to support decision-making. The program is designed for part-time study, with courses offered daytime and evening during the week and some courses also available at a distance. Admission proceeds through three routes: a Quebec DEC (or equivalent); completion of at least five university-level courses (15 credits); or at least one continuous year of relevant experience in a related field. All applicants must meet UQAR's French-language proficiency requirement or pass an institutional French exam. New students are admitted in the fall and winter trimesters.

Admission Requirements: Applicants may be admitted on one of three bases. Under the college-studies (DEC) base, applicants must hold a Diplome d'etudes collegiales (DEC) or the equivalent. Under the university-studies base, applicants must have completed a minimum of five university-level courses (15 credits) at a Quebec university at the time of application. Under the experience base, applicants must have appropriate knowledge and at least one continuous year of experience in a related field. All applicants must meet UQAR's French Language Mastery Policy or pass an institutional French exam.
