This Certificate in Financial Planning is a 30-credit, first-cycle undergraduate program offering multidisciplinary training for the role of financial planner. Classes run daytime and evening during the week, with some courses also offered at a distance, supporting full-time or part-time study. Admission is available through three routes: a Diplome d'etudes collegiales (DEC) in administrative techniques (or Quebec equivalent) combined with one year of attested experience in insurance or financial services; completion of at least five university-level courses (15 credits) at a Quebec university; or at least two years of attested experience in insurance or financial services without the DEC. All applicants must meet UQAR's French-language proficiency requirement or pass an institutional French exam. The program admits new students in the fall, winter, and summer trimesters.
