This multimedia technologies programme trains specialists to develop, operate and maintain multimedia software, covering computer games, virtual and augmented reality, and digital content of professional quality. Subjects move from object-oriented programming, computer architecture and discrete structures through databases, multimedia system engineering and software engineering to 3D modelling fundamentals, user experience and visual design, digital audio and video systems, and interactive web technology, closing with a professional internship and the bachelor's final project. A wide specialisation list lets students focus on building computer games, sound engineering, more advanced 3D modelling work, special effects programming, artificial intelligence for gaming, front-end programming, television content production, or virtual reality technologies. Teaching and assessment proceed module by module through classroom and individual study. Graduates can define requirements for multimedia products, design architecture, algorithms and interfaces for multimedia solutions, and evaluate the quality of finished digital content.
