BA/BS in Information System Engineering

This information system engineering programme trains students to identify needs for developing or updating information systems, design and build modern systems, and apply decision analysis, innovative technologies and data analytics in practice. The 165-credit core blends mathematics, language study and informatics engineering with twenty-five credits of practice and a fifteen-credit thesis, while sixty further credits let students deepen their knowledge in one of four elective groups: business and management, databases, data analytics, or systems engineering and programming. Teaching combines lectures, case-based study, seminars, laboratory work and team projects, with assessment through tests, written works, practice reports and thesis defence before a committee. Part of the programme can be studied in English. Graduates can begin careers as programmers, testers or data analysts in national and international companies, progressing toward management roles, or continue into master's and doctoral study in informatics engineering.
