BA/BS in Global Business and Communication

Organised around four program goals, the curriculum introduces the main business disciplines, covering accounting, finance, economics, marketing, entrepreneurship, communication, and management, develops research and critical-thinking skills through scholarly research methods and quantitative and qualitative analysis of business creation, and builds character and ethical awareness through a core curriculum grounded in the artes liberales model and a Christian worldview. Learning outcomes include demonstrating knowledge of business creation, management problem-solving, marketing, business communication, brand management, and the basics of accounting and finance, and applying the latest management theory and chosen research methods to real theoretical and practical problems. Students also learn to create strategies that maximise the reach of brand, company, and public engagement across multiple communication modes, show oral, written, and technology-based business communication skills, and create and manage a brand or new product. The programme further develops the ability to work conscientiously and independently, take moral responsibility for outcomes, make informed and creative decisions in complicated situations, and participate voluntarily in civil and public life.
