This programme trains globally minded, culturally sensitive, and ethically engaged political-science graduates equipped to understand local, national, and international events and policies and to critically analyse how institutions shape international cooperation and development. Learning outcomes include demonstrating conceptual understanding of political processes, international relations theory, and development-cooperation policy, constructing and presenting clear arguments, devising research designs and conducting independent studies, applying conflict-resolution and negotiation skills, and mastering basic project-management tasks. Students also develop cross-cultural awareness through a semester or placement abroad, apply moral and Christian ethical principles to political and social issues, and plan development activities across public, non-governmental, and private organisations. Coursework includes international relations, political economy, international law, peace and conflict studies, and research methods, alongside a module in conflict transformation, delivered in English and concluding with a practicum and a final thesis. Graduates can work in public institutions, diplomatic missions, non-governmental organisations, and international aid agencies.
