Subjects move from mathematics, physics, and materials science through electrotechnics, technical mechanics, and automobile electric and electronic equipment into automobile diagnostics, maintenance, metal technology, and the technology of automobile repair, with part of the coursework available in English or Russian. Electives let students specialise further in areas such as engine management systems and automobile technical expertise, special and specialised automobiles, or body and engine repair, alongside options in transport law, management, or the philosophy of technology. Learning outcomes include calculating technical parameters and applying appropriate management methods for technical aids, evaluating the properties of engineering materials and structural elements for use in engineering solutions, and understanding how automobile technical exploitation affects the environment and traffic safety in order to work out solutions. Students also learn to independently analyse automobile diagnostic and measurement data, carry out applied research using laboratory and industrial equipment, and choose technological equipment and materials for maintenance or repair, as well as to plan and organise the activities of an automobile repair or service company, their own included.
