Diploma in Human Resource Management

Covering both the practical and theoretical sides of modern HR practice, this diploma is built to produce HR professionals who are employable both in Mauritius and on the wider international job market. Successful graduates earn a joint Diploma in Human Resource Management, recognised locally alongside its French equivalent, DUST Gestion des Ressources Humaines. Instruction is mainly in English, though select modules run in French, and the final supervised project can be submitted in either language; the dual-language approach is intended to give graduates an edge in a globalised job market. Career outcomes include human resource officer and training and development officer roles, with grounding in reward and performance-management systems. Completed over two years full time (or three part time), the diploma also feeds directly into the university's BSc Human Resource Management as a recognised progression route, both in Mauritius and in partner institutions in France.
