BSc (Hons) Human Resource Management

Aimed at the Mauritian job market, this honours programme trains graduates for HR careers spanning recruitment, reward, training and performance management across a wide range of industries. The curriculum pairs theory with applied skills so that graduates are ready to step directly into HR functions without a long adjustment period. Classes are delivered through lectures, tutorials, seminars and group projects, with an industrial placement giving hands-on exposure to how HR departments actually operate. Students finish with the groundwork to pursue roles such as HR officer or training and development manager, and to design and run performance management systems. The degree runs full time over three years as a standard honours route, with part-time and top-up pathways also offered for students joining from a related diploma.
