The Master of Arts in Sociology is a 2-year, in-person graduate program focused on the organization and development of contemporary societies in comparative context, with particular attention to Canadian society. The degree is offered through Coursework, Research Essay, and Thesis pathways, and Specializations in Accessibility, African Studies, Latin American and Caribbean Studies, Digital Humanities, and Climate Change and Data Science are available. Co-op and field placement options provide experiential learning tied to students' research interests.
