Overview
Sciences de la nature is a pre-university DEC covering chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics, designed for students planning to continue to university, including those pursuing health-science prerequisites. Admission Requirements: Sciences de la nature's own admissions page sets three course prerequisites beyond the general secondary-diploma requirement: Chimie 584 or 534, Mathématiques TS 5e or SN 5e (536), and Physique 534 or 584. Applicants qualify with a Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) from the youth or adult sector, or a Diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) plus passes in fifth-secondary language of instruction, fifth-secondary second language and fourth-secondary mathematics, or training the Cégep judges equivalent.
