The Graduate Diploma in Management (D.E.S.S. en gestion – management) is a 30-credit, second-cycle diploma that builds foundational knowledge in management and strategy alongside practical management skills for real organizational situations. Teaching methods are applied and practice-oriented, using role play, simulations, and case analysis rather than a purely theoretical approach. Students complete 10 courses in total, drawing on a set of required courses plus a selection of electives that allow the programme to be adapted to individual backgrounds and goals. The programme is offered full-time or part-time, with day, evening, or weekend sections, delivered on campus at the Côte-des-Neiges campus. It is intended for people holding an undergraduate degree in a field other than management, such as psychology, communications, nursing, law, accounting, or information technology, who want to move into a management role. Graduates typically pursue intermediate management positions, with advancement opportunities tied to their prior professional experience and academic background.
