The Graduate Diploma in Management – Social Innovation (D.E.S.S. en gestion – innovation sociale) is a 30-credit, second-cycle diploma examining the social, ecological, and political challenges organizations face, and the approaches used to address them, including social entrepreneurship, the cooperative economy, and the commons. Students acquire management tools and practices for implementing social innovation projects and learn to apply impact-assessment methods covering social, ecological, and political dimensions. The programme is offered full-time or part-time, in day or evening sessions, delivered on campus at the Côte-des-Neiges campus, and is designed to accommodate students who continue working while studying. Under certain conditions, graduates can continue into the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Management – Social Innovation Management. Career paths include project management, consulting, and training roles within cooperatives, social enterprises, non-profit and community organizations, unions, large companies, and public administration.
