Graphic Design is a two-year diploma delivered on campus at the Exchange District Campus (formerly Princess Street Campus) in Winnipeg, with a laptop-delivery format requiring students to purchase their own laptop. Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires proof of graduation from, or current enrolment in, Grade 12, including one credit each of Grade 12 English (40S) and Grade 12 Math (40S). Applicants who completed three years of full-time secondary education in Canada, the US, or an ELR-exempt country in English meet the language requirement; others must submit proof of meeting an approved English Language Requirement option, such as IELTS Academic (overall 6.0, no band below 5.5), CAEL (overall band 60), PTE (overall 54, minimum 50 per skill), Duolingo (115 or above, minimum 95 per section), or TOEFL iBT (4.0 overall, minimum 3.5 per component). A specified portfolio of artwork is required, with specifications released each December; applicants are scored and ranked for the limited seats in this competitive admission program. Mature applicants 19 or older who have been out of high school for at least a year may qualify by completing or enrolling in Grade 12 English (40S) and meeting the other regular requirements. The mandatory information session is waived for the Fall 2026 admission cycle. The annual application deadline is March 1, with an international early application deadline of November 21 and an international early portfolio deadline of January 4.
