Overview
The Maitrise en relations industrielles at Universite de Montreal is a 45-credit graduate program offering advanced, multidisciplinary training in the analysis and management of workplace issues, covering human resources, labour relations, workplace law, health and safety, and public employment policy. Students choose among three pathways: a thesis or research-based track, a directed-work track, or a course-based track without a thesis, and may pursue a specialization in either a multidisciplinary stream or occupational health and safety. Full-time and part-time study are both available, with day and evening courses and the possibility of an optional internship or an international study exchange. The program is recognized by the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines et en relations industrielles agrees du Quebec (CRHA). Admission requires a bachelor's degree, and applicants whose prior education was not entirely in French must demonstrate French proficiency through an accepted test such as TFLM, DELF, or DALF. New students are admitted in the Fall and Winter terms.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and submit a curriculum vitae. Applicants educated entirely in French are exempt from a language test; all other applicants must demonstrate French proficiency through an accepted test such as TFLM, DELF, or DALF, meeting a minimum of C1 in listening and reading comprehension and B2 in written expression on the CECRL scale.
