The Baccalaureat en kinesiologie is a bachelor of science at Universite de Sherbrooke training students to assess and design physical-activity and lifestyle interventions for individual clients and groups. Over 90 credits, the programme develops evidence-based clinical reasoning in kinesiology, collaborative client relationships that support client autonomy, and interdisciplinary teamwork with other health professionals, alongside skills in planning and delivering population-level health-promotion initiatives centred on physical activity and healthy lifestyles. Students are trained to practise ethically and reflectively, with attention to equity, diversity and inclusion. From the first semester, students must obtain a cardiac monitor, blood-pressure cuff and stethoscope, and must hold current first-aid and CPR certification before the third semester. The programme is offered in a regular or cooperative-education format, full-time or part-time, at the Sherbrooke campus, with fall admission. It is open to international students, with paid co-op work terms available, and leads to a Bachelière ou bachelier es sciences.
