This is a 45-credit professional master's program in nursing sciences leading to a Maitrise es sciences (M.Sc.) at Universite Laval. The program develops advanced nursing practice competencies through a supervised internship and an intervention project, with electives across four themes: nursing administration and health services management, complex care for individuals and families, socio-anthropological perspectives on care, and health education and pedagogy. The program concludes with a practicum report or intervention project report rather than a thesis. Courses are delivered on campus, at a distance, and in hybrid or comodal formats, with required practical placements on site. The nominal duration is two years of full-time study, with part-time study available. Admission takes place in the fall and winter terms. Graduates typically move into advanced nursing practice, program leadership, education, or research-support roles within the health system.
