The Honours Bachelor of Science is a flexible science degree that allows students to take courses across multiple science disciplines without committing to a specialized major at entry. Working with academic advisors, students follow their own pathway through the sciences and may transition into a specialized major, such as Biology or Chemistry, once they have identified an area of focus. Admission from Ontario secondary school requires English, mathematics, and one of biology, chemistry, or physics at the senior level, plus additional academic courses. International Baccalaureate applicants need a minimum of 28 diploma points, and GCE A-level applicants need a minimum average of C. Intake is offered in the fall, winter, and summer terms, and the degree can be completed full-time or part-time, giving students a broad foundation for further specialized study or science-related careers.
