BA/BS in Multimedia technology

This multimedia technology programme, the first and longest-running of its kind in Lithuania, trains specialists to assess market demand for multimedia products and digital communication and to design, develop and manage such products for business. Core subjects run from mathematics, physics and electronics through graphic design, database management systems, electronic publishing and copyright protection to video and audio technology, 2D animation, 3D modelling and digital printing technology. Thirty ECTS of practice, including two rounds of multimedia product design and a final internship, lead into a twelve-ECTS final thesis. Developed with academic partners in Denmark since 2005, the programme uses lectures, laboratory work, course projects and a graduation project assessed on a ten-point cumulative scale. Graduates work as engineers in advertising, marketing, telecommunications, publishing, tourism and trade enterprises, or in television and production companies, with some starting their own businesses.
