BA/BS in Psychology

This programme prepares psychologists able to apply psychological knowledge across different settings in line with scientific and ethical principles. Learning outcomes include understanding core areas of psychology and a psychologist's main activities, grasping behavioural principles at the individual, group, organisational, and community level, constructing and applying assessment methods, and evaluating a client's problem, strengths, and potential to plan appropriate psychological help. Students also learn to communicate and work in teams with professionals from other fields, carry out empirical research and apply evidence-based findings in practice, develop educational programmes addressing psychological functioning, and implement preventive interventions at individual and group level, all while following the principles of psychological ethics. Teaching is student-oriented and research-based, using seminars, case analysis, role-play, and project work, with continuous cumulative assessment through written exams, practice, and project presentations, and students may add twelve credits of electives from the same or another study area.
