Admission Requirements: Admission requires a Quebec Secondary School Diploma (DES) meeting Cegep de Chicoutimi's general conditions: Langue d'enseignement and Langue seconde at Secondary V, Mathematiques at Secondary IV, Science et technologie (or Applications technologiques et scientifiques) at Secondary IV, and Histoire et education a la citoyennete at Secondary IV; candidates missing units may be admitted conditionally and must complete upgrading courses in their first session. Equivalent routes are also accepted: a vocational diploma (DEP) plus the same three core courses, training judged equivalent by the college, or sufficient formation and experience combined with at least 36 months away from full-time study.
