Music Performance: Voice is a Bachelor of Music (B.Mus.) program at McGill University's Schulich School of Music, focused on classical vocal performance. Students work individually with vocal pedagogues and study repertoire coaching, diction, music theory, and musicology alongside applied voice training. The program offers performance opportunities through opera productions, early music ensembles, song interpretation, a choral program, and internal competitions such as the McGill Concerto Competition and Wirth Vocal Competition, in addition to public recitals, masterclasses, and outside venues in Montreal. Training builds technical vocal skill, artistic interpretation, and stage experience for a professional singing career. The curriculum combines individual lessons, ensemble participation, and academic coursework in music history and theory. Graduates pursue careers as professional performers, as well as further study in vocal performance or related music disciplines. Admission is through McGill's Schulich School of Music, in addition to general Faculty entry requirements.
