PGDip in Performance (Post-Grad. Art. Dip.)

The Post-Graduate Artist Diploma in Performance is a third-cycle, one-year program offered by the Schulich School of Music at McGill University for students who have completed a Master of Music or equivalent. The course-based program focuses on refining technique and mastering repertoire through intensive coaching, practice, and varied performance projects, with flexible options spanning solo, chamber, recording, orchestral audition, and creative collaboration work. Admission is by audition. Students have access to the Schulich School's performance spaces, research and production laboratories, two music libraries, and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology (CIRMMT). Admission requires an eligible bachelor's degree and a master's degree, both with a minimum 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0), plus English-language proficiency; applicants should consult the program website for specific application documents.
