This 30-credit graduate diploma (DESS) at Université de Sherbrooke trains kinesiology professionals to optimize human performance through an interdisciplinary, professionally oriented and experiential approach to the physical activity sciences. The program develops rigorous professional reasoning supported by current scientific knowledge and relevant technologies, addressing the physiological, biomechanical, psychological, and nutritional dimensions of performance. A significant portion of training takes place in authentic practice settings, giving students experience they can transfer to future kinesiology interventions with diverse client populations, grounded in evidence-based practice and professional and ethical standards. The program is completed full-time over two terms and admits students in the winter term only, on the main Sherbrooke campus. It is offered by the Faculty of Physical Activity Sciences.
