Overview

Admission Requirements: Admission requires a first-cycle degree in a discipline or field relevant to the program, with a minimum cumulative average of 2.7 on a 4.3 scale. Applicants below that average, or from a less closely related background, may still be admitted on the basis of education or experience judged satisfactory, under the university's prior-learning recognition rules; students in the integrated bachelor's-master's pathway must instead have completed 60 credits with a cumulative average of at least 3.0 on 4.3. All admitted students must show French proficiency at CEFR level C1 (score of at least 500 out of 699) across listening, reading, speaking and writing, on a university-recognized test, or obtain an exemption. Applicants to the research-oriented profile must additionally secure a supervisor's agreement to direct their research project before being admitted.

Application Deadline:Domestic (Quebec and other Canadian) applicants apply directly to Universite de Sherbrooke: for full-time undergraduate programmes the Winter 2027 deadline is 1 November 2026 and the Fall 2027 deadline is 1 March 2027, with later dates for part-time study. International applicants must apply earlier for visa processing, with a Fall 2027 deadline of 15 January 2027; the equivalent Winter international deadline (1 June) falls the preceding year, so Winter 2027 international applications closed 1 June 2026. The School of Management and Faculty of Education publish their own program-specific dates that are actually later (more time to apply) than the general undergraduate dates, while the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences uses earlier dates for most of its M.D. admission categories. None of these are described as rolling; they are published as firm final deadlines. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
