The Master's in Immunology (Maitrise en immunologie) is a 45-credit second-cycle, research-type programme at the Universite de Sherbrooke's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, delivered on the Campus de la sante in Sherbrooke, leading to the Master of Science. Students receive advanced training in cellular and molecular immunology and learn to plan, execute and interpret an immunology research protocol, and to communicate and discuss their results. The programme prepares graduates for pre-university teaching, research-assistant positions in university or industry settings, or further doctoral study. Integrated pathways exist from the bachelor's in pharmacology and the bachelor's in health biochemistry, each requiring a minimum cumulative average of 3.5 on a 4.3 scale after the fifth semester and a set number of completed credits before the admission term.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a first-cycle degree, or equivalent, in biology, biochemistry or medicine, or demonstrate equivalent preparation, and must obtain the prior agreement of a faculty member qualified to supervise their research before applying. A minimum cumulative average of 2.7 on a 4.3 scale, or equivalent academic results, is required; the programme may exceptionally admit candidates with an average between 2.38 and 2.7, subject to at least two credits of additional coursework completed at a minimum grade of 2.7/4.3. Integrated pathways from the bachelor's in pharmacology or in health biochemistry require a cumulative average of at least 3.5/4.3 after the fifth semester and a specified number of completed credits before the admission term.
