This is a 30-credit undergraduate certificate in sustainable transition management at HEC Montreal, taught in French at the Cote-des-Neiges campus and delivered in a hybrid format, with part of the courses given one week online and the next week on campus. Students complete ten courses: eight mandatory courses covering sustainable development, circular economy, social responsibility, ethical management, and responsible marketing, plus six specialization courses and two elective courses. The curriculum builds understanding of global sustainability challenges and change-management skills, and develops innovative, circular approaches to problem-solving grounded in environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. The program is designed mainly for part-time study, though full-time enrolment is possible, and can be combined with another HEC Montreal certificate and a Universite de Montreal program toward a baccalaureat par cumul.
