The programme prepares communication professionals able to analyse content, manage information and apply communication technologies across media, text, and audiovisual formats. Teaching combines classroom lectures and group research with problem-based learning, design thinking, and case-based projects carried out with real organisations, alongside modules covering communication theory, media ethics, and quantitative and qualitative research methods. Students can choose from alternative courses such as organisational and political communication, risk and crisis communication, public speaking, and web content architecture, and may spend a semester at the University of Twente studying subjects on virality, technological innovation, and privacy as part of a twin programme. Studies conclude with professional practice and a defended final degree project, assessed through a mix of independent work grades and exam results.
