This programme builds knowledge of linguistics and contemporary media language together with the skills to create, analyse, and publish interdisciplinary digital-media content for global audiences. Learning outcomes include understanding phonology, grammar, lexicology, and semantics as they apply to new media, recognising how different media models and theories shape public discourse and virtual communities, systematically analysing and critically interpreting texts, and using digital technologies to create, edit, and convert audiovisual and multimedia material. Coursework includes writing for media, creative writing, discourse and communication, web content creation and publishing, technical and professional writing and editing, the ethics of artificial intelligence, and a research methods course applied to language, alongside a professional internship and electives in philosophy, sustainable development, and additional foreign languages. Students also build research skills for analysing linguistic material within a broader media context, alongside the social skills to work in interdisciplinary teams and keep developing independently. The programme concludes with a final degree project and its defence, assessed through a cumulative weighting of intermediate and final results.
