Overview
This degree combines English philology with public relations, building English communication and mediation skills at C1-C2 level alongside the basics of linguistics, literary studies and public relations strategy. Students study the English language system, the development of English and American literature, and the socio-cultural context of English-speaking countries, learning to translate and edit specialised texts between English and Lithuanian. Public relations training covers organising opinion research, analysing data and designing campaigns, with emphasis on producing content suited to different audiences and registers, including political, business and technical language. Teaching proceeds through lectures, seminars and individual and group consultation, with students taking on standard and creative tasks that build professional and transferable skills. Graduates are prepared to conduct philological research independently and to develop and carry out public relations projects in international and culturally diverse settings.
